Over the past month, the Wygo team has been working hard to build features that make the event creation process smoother for hosts. We’ve introduced autosave, live collaboration, draft events, and more tools that will make your hosting experience even better.

Say goodbye to forgetting to press the save button. All of your changes now automatically save as a Draft, so you’ll never lose a big change again.

Community building is a team effort, and we’ve made it even easier to create events as a team. You can now see if other hosts are viewing the event, and where they’re currently editing. Any changes instantly update for everyone, keeping your team on the same page.
Sometimes those half-finished edits aren’t quite ready for attendees to see, but you don’t have enough time to polish them in one sitting. That’s why we’ve built Draft Events, the new way of creating and editing events on Wygo.
When you create an event, it will automatically become a draft. Draft Events aren’t publicly accessible and won’t show up on your profile. Only invited hosts will be able to access the event. You can preview your changes using the “Preview” button. This will show you what the event will look like once it’s published, so you can catch errors before they are public. You can also see the live event from the preview window.

Event visibility now defaults to public for all new events.
This means when you publish your event, it will show on your profile, search, and followers’ following pages. You can set your event to private in the “Settings” tab.

Once you're ready to make your event public, press the “Publish” button, and your event page will be available for anyone to view. After publishing your event, any future changes will need to be re-published for attendees to see them.
